LiSAG Elects New Executives at 2023/2024 Annual General Meeting

At the 2023/2024 Annual General Meeting of the Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LiSAG), members witnessed the reaffirmation of trusted leadership and the introduction of a strategic reshuffle aimed at strengthening the association’s operations.

🔹 Confirmed and Re-Elected Leaders

The meeting confirmed the re-election of key executives who have demonstrated consistent leadership and dedication to the surveying profession.

  • Dr. Samuel Larbi Darko was re-elected as President, continuing his visionary leadership at the helm of the association.

  • LS Stephen Djaba also retained his position as Vice President, bringing continuity and experience to the executive team.

  • LS Benjamin Benyi Acquah was re-elected as Financial Secretary, maintaining his role in overseeing the association’s financial affairs with integrity and accountability.

🔹 Strategic Role Shift in the Executive Team

LS Florence Lamptey, who formerly served as the association’s Secretary, was re-elected into a new role as Welfare Officer, replacing LS Thomas Senkyire Acquah. Her transition into this role reflects LiSAG’s commitment to member welfare and professional support, with Florence expected to bring strong administrative insight and people-centered leadership to the position.

Taking up the reins as the new Secretary is Prof. Prosper Laari, whose academic and professional credentials make him well-suited to handle the association’s communications, records, and administrative coordination.

With a blend of continuity and strategic re-positioning, the newly affirmed LiSAG executive team is poised to continue building on the association’s legacy of excellence. Their collective focus remains on strengthening professional standards, promoting ethical surveying practices, and expanding LiSAG’s voice both locally and globally.
